simple-python-swarm

A simple python program using semaphores, to run a group of commands or scripts in parallel

Installation

It is a python 2.7 program and uses the default imports available with python 2.7. No extra installations necessary.

To run the program you need to create a batch file and give that as an argument to SwarmJob.py Each line in the batch file is another program or script or command in the OS environment These programs/scripts can have arguments as well.

Check out the “mytest.batch” file provided in the test directory of the repo.
